The objective for this level is to score 10,000 points within 50 moves. At the same time, you must make striped candy + striped candy combinations exactly seven times – but it is tough to do so.
Why is this level hard?
The main reason why this level is so tough is because of the presence of the cake bombs and toffee tornadoes. These are both major obstacles.
The cake bombs do nothing else but take up space on the board. With reduced space, it becomes harder to create striped candies, let alone match them together.
Moreover, the toffee tornadoes somehow appear to be telepathic and they seem to be able to read your mind, by sometimes destroying the very move that you are just about to make. This has happened to me multiple times when playing this insanely tough level.
But here are some tips that you can use to beat Level 421 of the Candy Crush Saga game.
Get the striped candies on top, to the bottom, as soon as possible
At the start, you will notice that there is one striped candy at each of the four corners of the board.
It will help you with one of the seven matches, if you can get the two striped candies at the top, to the bottom – so that you can match one pair of the striped candies together and complete one combination.
However, it may be quite tough to do so, because you may inadvertently set a cake bomb off while trying to do this – and the striped candies may be destroyed without getting used. To prevent this from happening, try your best to form vertical matches at the two side columns to bring the candies down faster and get a match before you explode the cake bombs.
Do note that losing your striped candies as a result of the cake bombs exploding is actually a common problem on mobile devices, but when the cake bomb is set off on Facebook, then it may automatically create one match for you and help you along.
Treat the cake bombs with care
The presence of the cake bombs at this level can be either a boon or a bane, depending on how you look at it.
If you don’t have a very good board and need to completely refresh the candies to form striped + striped combinations, then the cake bombs will help you a lot.
But on the other hand, if you accidentally set off the cake bomb when you have plenty of striped candies ready to be matched together, then it may completely destroy your game.
Forget about boosters
At this level, most of the boosters, such as the striped + wrapped candy and the colour bomb, won’t be of use to you. So do not bother wasting these.
The only boosters that may help you out are the free switch hand and the lollipop boosters, but then whether you can actually use them would very much depend on the situation of the game board at hand. So don’t bother using boosters at this level, unless you know for sure that they will help to create a match or win the game.
Get a good board
As with many other levels in the Candy Crush Saga game, you need to have a good board, in order to beat this level. In my opinion, the best type of board is one that has one or two striped candies waiting to be made – as this may go a long way to achieving your objective.
