How to Beat Candy Crush Saga Level 70

In Candy Crush Saga, Level 70 is one of the earliest hard levels that players may face. The objective at Level 70 may seem simple enough – to get rid of 28 jelly squares in 45 moves and earn 60,000 points in the process.

Level 70 can be beaten with the right strategy.

But the abundance of the chocolate makes this level hard to beat. As you probably know, one side of this game board is covered with jelly and locked candies, but the other is clear. The moment you unlock a single piece of the locked candy (in order to remove the jelly), the chocolate will spread like wildfire, and if you do not clear it constantly, the chocolate will simply overtake the board.

Here are some tips on how you can keep the chocolate at bay.

Do not touch the locked candies at the beginning

Do not match the locked candies with anything unless you are absolutely confident that you can deal with the chocolate. Do not simply make a match just because you are able to do so. If you can clear jelly squares without touching the locked candies, you may do so, though.

Start making special candy matches on the left hand side

Try to focus your initial efforts on the left hand side of the board, especially at the beginning of your game when you are playing this level. But do not simply match the minimum game requirement of three candies together here, as this won’t help you.

Instead, try and make special candies, such as colour bombs, striped and wrapped candies. Then when you have several special candies, you should then combine them together and produce an explosion that can clear large chunks of the game board – including many jelly squares on the right hand side. Of course, this will unlock the locked candies too, but you should be ready to deal with these by now.

Focus on making vertical striped candies at the right hand side of the board

Once you have unlocked the locked candies when the special candies (the wrapped and striped ones) explode as part of the game plan, you must now be prepared for the chocolate battle. Your main aim now should be to get rid of the chocolate so that it won’t engulf you completely. A good way to do this would be to make vertical striped candies on the right hand side of the board, so that these will kill plenty of chocolate squares within a single move – thus stopping the spread of the chocolate.

At this stage, if you see a great match on the left hand side of the board though, such as a move that can potentially lead to a helpful colour bomb or a striped/wrapped candy combination, you should grab this. This is because you’ll be able to clear plenty of chocolate and jelly squares through such moves.

So everybody seems to have trouble with this one. I just did a second play through and because i have played higher levels, its much easier now. The KEY to level 70 is combos and the striped candies. You don’t want that chocolate to spread. It explains it really well over here http://candycrushlevel70.com/
