Hello Kitty fans in Singapore, it is time to rejoice. That’s because the inaugural Hello Kitty Run has finally come to Singapore.

Celebrates the 40th birthday of this world-famous feline character

Taking place at 8.30am on the morning of 1 November, this Hello Kitty Run will celebrate the 40th birthday of Sanrio’s world-famous feline character.

Bringing love, happiness and encouraging the forging of friendships and sharing across the world, Hello Kitty has flourished into a global phenomenon since her first appearance in 1974. Today, she is a familiar icon that is well liked by both the young and the old – and Singapore is indeed no exception.

A scenic 5Km route, party-like atmosphere and many fringe activities

Organised by Pink Apple and featuring a scenic 5Km route covering iconic landmarks around Singapore city, the Hello Kitty Run is definitely not a running event to be missed.

At the same time, runners can indulge and celebrate after the run with a one-of-a-kind Hello Kitty birthday cake and birthday songs sung by 15,000 Hello Kitty fans in Singapore.

Besides this, runners can also have fun at the Hello Kitty themed post-race village and take part in plenty of other fringe activities.

An exclusive t-shirt and plush toy to take home

Furthermore, participants of this iconic event are also entitled to an exclusive Hello Kitty themed runners t-shirt and a special edition commemorative Hello Kitty plush toy to take home.

Cost: $65 (Pre-registration Fee)
$70 (Normal Registration Fee).

Registrations for the run are currently open. You can enter on their website, www.hellokittyrun.com.sg, but hurry, because registrations will close as soon as the maximum capacity has been reached.

So if you simply can’t wait to indulge yourself in some Hello Kitty mania come November, then you should sign yourself up for this exciting running event.
