Adidas Set To Change The Future Of Running With UltraBoost 19

Sportswear company Adidas has unveiled the all-new Adidas UltraBoost 19, and this latest version is being billed as their most responsive, energy-charged version of the shoe, to date.

A Running Shoe, Reinvented

Inspired by and made for a new era of running that is more creative, sociable and open than ever before, the new UltraBoost 19 shoe was designed by Adidas product designers and developers who worked with thousands of runners to reinvent the running shoe.

Together, they simplified the original Adidas UltraBoost from 17 components to just four, to create a lighter shoe with more responsiveness for a game-changing running experience.

Said Sam Handy, VP Design, Adidas Running, “Running is constantly evolving, so we designed the rebooted and re-energised Adidas UltraBoost 19 to empower runners all over the world to keep challenging and changing what running is and what it looks like.”

Key Shoe Features

With the new UltraBoost 19 shoes, runners will be able to enjoy optimised BOOST, with 20 percent more BOOST in the midsole to inject more energy into each step, as well as a Torsion Spring to propel you forward more effortlessly.

The shoes are also set to feature a 3D Heel Frame that cradles the foot on impact, to provide enhanced support and stability for a more confident run. And the presence of a one-piece PrimeKnit 360 upper snugly wraps around the foot for added support and comfort, too.

Said Handy, “With the Adidas UltraBoost 19, we have created a shoe that provides more energy return than ever before so that runners can run with power and confidence in whatever way their creativity takes them.”

The Recode Running Campaign

To celebrate the launch of the UltraBoost 19, Adidas will also be holding the Recode Running campaign which champions how runners are transforming the sport each time they run.

The campaign trailer launched recently and explores how runners worldwide are ripping running apart and sticking it back together in creative ways.

Early supporters of the UltraBoost 19 include footballers Lionel Messi, Paulo Dybala and Paul Pogba, track and field star Wayde van Niekerk, Hollywood actor Chadwick Boseman and style icon Kendall Jenner.
