Cycle your way to good health with Anlene

Take part in the Anlene Cycling Challenge and cycle your way to good health for a great cause.

Launched in celebration of Anlene’s 25 year track record

Together with FairPrice, Anlene has launched the 250,000km At Your Best with Anlene cycling challenge – to celebrate Anlene’s 25 year track record as the leading bone health product in Singapore. The campaign will last two months.

Said Chin Lee Foon, Commercial Director of Fonterra, “2016 is a milestone for Anlene as we celebrate our 25th anniversary but also 10 fruitful years of friendship with FairPrice, our long-standing partner. It is with the support of partners such as FairPrice that have enabled Anlene to be the #1 adult milk powder in Singapore.”

Cycling booths at Anlene carnivals

Everyone of all ages and from all walks of life can take part in the cycling challenge at the Anlene carnivals – where cycling booths are positioned. The carnivals will be at Jurong Point, Bedok Central and NEX in August and September.

To contribute miles to the challenge, you simply mount the static bicycles at the Cycling Challenge booths at the locations and ride for a good cause.

Proceeds to be donated to Lions Befrienders

Proceeds from the event will be donated to enhance the quality of life of underprivileged seniors at Lions Befrienders – the adopted charity for the 2016 At Your Best with Anlene challenge.

If you prefer to ride your own bicycles, then this is fine too – just pledge the distance that you are completing and post a photo with the hashtag #ANLENE250 on Facebook or Instagram.

Other festivities at the carnival

Besides the Cycling Challenge booths, there will also be free Anlene MoveChecks at the carnival. These will begin with three test components – a back scratch test, one-legged standing balance test and sit-to-stand test. These assess the overall mobility of a person. Following which, an Anlene Bone Scan using ultrasound will give an indication of bone health by revealing the quality of the internal bone length and structure of a person.

As well, there will be opportunities for people to sample Anlene products.

Gift redemptions with purchase of Anlene products will also be available from 1 August to 11 September. If you purchase $69 worth of Anlene products you can redeem a free mobile armband and Adidas backpack/gym bag worth up to $75 at the carnival of your choice, while stocks last.

To end the series of carnivals, there will be a closing ceremony at NEX Mall on 10 September – where $25,000 will be donated to Lions Befrienders if the target distance of 250,000km is achieved.

Rallying Singaporeans together for a good cause

Said Chin, “As we continue to encourage Singaporeans to stay active and be at their best with the Cycling Challenge, we want to also rally people to come together and cycle for a good cause, in support of Lions Befrienders.”

And by tying up with Anlene, FairPrice also hopes to spread the message about Healthy Living. Said Seah Kian Peng, Chief Executive officer of NTUC FairPrice, “We continue to work with partners like Anlene to spread the message on maintaining healthy bones while also encouraging the community to do good.”

He added, “We look to provide a platform for the community to come together and have fun staying active while also doing their part for the less fortunate.”
