Torro Rosso will use Acronis hybrid cloud data protection solutions

Torro Rosso will use Acronis hybrid cloud data protection solutions to guarantee data availability when it is most needed, that is, during races and preparing for new events. Each race weekend, there are hundreds of sensors with multiple data points that monitor the cars, providing real time information, which is immediately analysed and used throughout the race to improve performance.

The data is also transferred to the Torro Rosso base in Italy, where a support group of engineers and data analysts use it for making improvements to cars and developing new race strategies.

Will help the team to make educated decisions more quickly

The collected data will also fuel rapid innovation and enables the team to make educated decisions more efficiently.

Said Torro Rosso driver Daniil Kvyat, “Acronis is a cutting edge and forward looking company and they are growing rapidly in the field of data protection, which links in very well with the sport. This cooperation will see them and us work well and progress together.”
