30 fans were at the airport

There had been about 30 enthusiastic fans at the Changi Airport Terminal One to meet and greet the players, which included World Cup hero Sonny Bill Williams who is excited and eager to meet his fans in Singapore this week.

Said the player, “I am very excited and happy to be here. Just been looking through my Twitter feed and I have a lot of supporters from Singapore. I am looking forward to meeting them and having a good tournament ahead in Singapore.”

The young fans who had stayed up to wait for Sonny Bill were certainly not disappointed as the player obliged the photo and autograph requests despite the late hour, lethargy and jet-lag.
