Region’s largest women’s-only half marathon

Taking place on 9 November at the Float @ Marina Bay, the Great Eastern Women’s Run is the largest women’s-only race in Singapore. It is also the largest women’s-only Half Marathon race in the region.

This iconic race caters to female runners of all abilities – from the leisure runners who prefer to take it easy with the 5km Fun Run, to the more competitive and serious runners willing to challenge themselves with the 21km Half Marathon.

The run will flag off at The Float @ Marina Bay. It will take participants past the beautiful Gardens by the Bay, the iconic Marina Bay Sands, the Singapore Flyer and the new Sports Hub before finishing back at the picturesque Float @ Marina Bay.

Organised by HiVelocity, 17,000 participants are expected this year.

So if you have not previously considered joining the GEWR, take part this year and be one of the 17,000 female runners – and you will certainly have a running experience that you will not forget.
