The J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge Returns On March 28, 2019

Come March 28th, the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge, billed as the largest corporate team sporting series in the world, will return to Singapore for the 16th straight year.

Part Of The Global Series

This event forms part of the global J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge Series, which was launched in 1977 to encourage companies to put aside time on a work day for a spot of fun and fitness.

The Singapore leg had originally began in 2004 and had attracted more than 14,200 runners from 390 companies. Since then, the race has grown from strength to strength with more than 7,600 companies and 253,000 total entrants taking part in last year’s race.

Singapore Leg To Be Debut Event

For this year, the Singapore leg will mark the debut event in the 2019 J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge Circuit, taking place a few hours before the Johannesburg event in South Africa on the same date.

Promoting Corporate Fitness, Teamwork And Camaraderie

Owned and operated by J.P. Morgan, the race promotes corporate fitness, teamwork and camaraderie by conducting 5.6KM running events in 13 cities in seven different countries, and celebrates each entry with a donation to charity. Entry is only available to employees of businesses and corporations.

5PM Flag-Off

The 2019 race will be flagged off at 5PM at St. Andrew’s Road in the Civic District and the finish line will be adjacent to the F1 Pit Building. The 5.6KM race is open to all employees of local businesses and corporations.

Race Village At End Point

And at the end point too, there will also be a race village for runners to look forward to, and mingle and network with others, thus further encouraging camaraderie amongst companies and colleagues.

Now Open For Registrants

Registration for the race is now open at www.jpmorganchasecc.com/city/singapore with each company being required to register a minimum of four employees.
