The SCMS Digital Queue will return soon.

A fan-favourite social medial initiative, the Digital Queue, which starts on 25 June, will see interested runners posting, liking and sharing their way, for a week, to a place at the SCMS 2016, by completing daily tasks laid out by race organisers to accumulate points and get to the front of the queue.

These tasks are set to challenge runners’ creativity and commitment, requiring them to post selfies, sharing favourite running spots and coming up with their top running playlists.

Runners who are keen to be a part of the queue, can start registering from 23 June by connecting their Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts.

The top 100 runners in the Digital Queue will get to run any category of their choice at SCMS for free. The top 10 will also win a pair of Brooks running shoes and highly coveted starting places at the front of the elite pen, with the top three receiving a Seiko watch each.

Besides the Digital Queue, a “15 Years of SCMS” throwback exhibition showcasing the medals, tees and memorabilia through the years, will also be on display.

Tests to determine runners’ baseline fitness levels

Runners will also have the opportunity to take tests to determine their baseline fitness levels.  These will be done by certified fitness coaches and former triathletes – and will provide runners with the information needed to help themselves plot a realistic training programme for the SCMS race.

Super Early Bird Pricing for Standard Chartered Bank cardholders

Standard Chartered Bank cardholders can also get guaranteed super-early bird pricing for the first two days of race registration opening, beginning 5 July, before public registration open on 7 July.
