Arsenal FC, Newcastle United and AC Milan prepare for the Singapore Festival of Football this month

This July, Singapore football fans have much to look forward to, with English clubs Arsenal FC and Newcastle United and Italian giants AC Milan coming to Singapore for the upcoming Singapore Festival of Football 2025 (SFOF).

Arsenal will take on AC Milan on 23 July before facing Carabao Cup winners Newcastle United on 27 July. Both matches kick off at 7:30pm Singapore time.

Arsenal will also hold an open training session on 25 July for fans to get another chance to interact with their favourite players. Tickets for the matches are S$108 and tickets for the open training session are S$32 from Ticketek Singapore.

As well, the Gunners will be conducting a Football Development Programme in Singapore with up-and-coming footballers from Singapore, Hong Kong and China attending for the chance to learn from the pros. 60 to 90 participants will be in attendance daily and there will be legends and players present. Attendees also get tickets to Arsenal’s open training session as well as their match against AC Milan.

Meanwhile AC Milan first-team players will be meeting fans at a PUMA event in the afternoon on July 22 at the Weston Corp store (Level 4) 313@Somerset. This will be the Rossoneri’s first-ever visit to Singapore. AC Milan supporters also get to meet two Rossoneri icons, Pato and Serginho, and join fans in the Fan Zone at the Stadium Riverside Walk prior to the match to soak up the vibes and atmosphere.

Both AC Milan and Arsenal will be debuting their 25/26 Away kits at the SFOF opener. The Rossoneri’s Away Kit, launched on 3 July, reimagines a timeless classic: a clean white base – a staple of AC Milan’s Away kits – elevated by dynamic red and black accents. This match sees digital and technological provider Tridentity coming as on board as the presenting partner.

Said Lim Soon Huat, Founder, Chairman and CEO of Tridentity, said: “We are thrilled to present the Tridentity Cup at the Singapore Festival of Football, where we proudly serve as the Premier and Digital Technology Partner.”

He added, “Trident is dedicated to secure, seamless digital identity solutions, and this collaboration reflects our commitment to uniting communities through football.”

Meanwhile the Magpies will be doing their part for the community too, through a food drive with local partner Pertapis on 26 July. They will also hold an exclusive retail event on the same day where supporters can meet Given and Amoebi and get to take photos with the Carabao Cup trophy.

This event is taking place at the Weston Store in 313@Somerset from 8pm-10pm. Newcastle fans who are not able to attend the event can also meet Given and Amoebi in the Fan Zone from 5pm-6pm on 27 July right before their match against Arsenal FC.

Earlier this year, TEG Sport and the Singapore Tourism Board announced the return of the SFOF in a five-year partnership that will see top-flight European football fixtures coming to Singapore in alternate years (2025, 2027 and 2029).

This year’s tournament is set to excite football fans all over the region again. Arsenal FC are playing in Singapore for the first time since 2018, while Newcastle United will be making their highly-anticipated return to Singapore in almost 30 years with plenty to celebrate after their Carabao Cup victory in March. Anticipation is also building among AC Milan fans as this will be the first time their club plays live in Singapore.
