The Tour de France EFGH Singapore Criterium duly delivered last weekend with a spectacular weekend of world-class racing and festivities at Marina Bay.

The events capped off with the men’s elite race which saw LIDL-Trek’s Jonathan Milan take victory ahead of Intermarché–Wanty’s Biniam Girmay and Alpecin–Deceuninck’s Jasper Philipsen.
The highly anticipated event lived up to its billing of fast and furious action between the last three winners of the Tour de France Green points classification with riders pushing the pace on the tight, technical 2.45km circuit that showcased Singapore’s iconic landmarks including the Padang, Anderson Bridge, and the Esplanade.
Singapore national cyclists Thomas Tong and Arfan Faisal made attempts to take the lead of the 40-strong world class peloton in the early laps, EF Education-EasyPost’s Ben Healy launched a brave solo attack in the final lap but was eventually reeled in ahead of the final sprint.

Said Milan on his win, “I’m really happy to have won here — it’s my first time racing in Singapore, so it feels really special to take the victory. I wasn’t expecting this kind of weather, but the roads held up well.”
This year marked the fourth edition of the Tour de France EFGH Singapore Criterium, reaffirming its place on the regional sporting calendar and cementing Singapore’s role as a gateway to world-class cycling action.
Said Dennis Ng, Executive Chairman, EFGH Embed Financial Group Holdings, the title sponsors of the event, “As a Singapore company with a global vision, we see this event as an opportunity to leave a lasting mark – one that celebrates world-class sport, fuels local pride, and sets the stage for the next generation of champions and changemakers.”

Apart from the elite competition, the event also celebrated the cycling community with the Tour de France Singapore Criterium: l’Attaque mass participation series which saw local cyclists take to the same course as the pros across four different formats, including time trials for teams of two, women’s and masters’ categories, and foldable bike challenges.
As well, for those who prefer to ride in a non-competitive capacity, the Anywheel Community Cycle gave hundreds of recreational riders to experience the iconic Marina Bay circuit on closed roads.

The event was flagged off by Baey Yam Keng, Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Sustainability and the Environment and Transport. He also joined the ride to celebrate Singapore’s growing cycling culture.
The success of the 2025 event reinforces Singapore’s emergence as Asia’s premier stop for global cycling and major sport tourism.
