This November, cycling fans in Singapore can look forward to an epic sprint showdown, with newly crowned green jersey winner Jonathan Milan confirming his attendance at the Tour de France EFGH Singapore Criterium. He will face off against Belgian sprint star Jasper Philipsen in the heart of Marina Bay.

Milan, 24, powered to two emphatic stage wins at this year’s Tour de France, becoming the first Italian to claim the green jersey since Alessandro Petacchi in 2003. Milan had been tipped for a high-stakes battle with Philipsen, who won the opening stage and took the yellow jersey, but this never materialised; cycling fans will know that Philipsen crashed out in stage 3.
This epic battle will now happen in Singapore with Milan and Philipsen going head to head in a blockbuster sprint duel against the iconic backdrop of Singapore’s Marina Bay skyline.
The 2025 edition of the Singapore Criterium also sees Embed Financial Group Holdings (EFGH) as its new title sponsor, with the race officially named the Tour de France EFGH Singapore Criterium.
EFGH’s sponsorship comes at a pivotal moment with the event entering its fourth year with renewed backing from the Singapore Tourism Board and the Amaury Sports Organisation, reflecting Singapore’s position as a world-class host city and the event’s growing stature as a regional fixture on the global sporting calendar.

EFGH is a Singapore-based Finternet company. Said Dennis Ng, Executive Chairman, EFGH, “We see strong parallels between the spirit of the Tour de France and what we are building here at EFGH. Just as cycling unites fans and athletes worldwide, finance must unite people and businesses.” EFGH’s ambition is to reshape the future of finance while backing one of the world’s most prestigious sporting brands.
Added Agnes Goh, Managing Director, Evoke Esp, event organisers, “We are shaping a platform that not only delivers world-class sporting action, but also creates long-term value at the intersection of sport, business and community. This collaboration reflects the growing stature of the event and underscores the confidence global brands have in Singapore as a premiere host city.”

The Tour de France Singapore Criterium is poised to be a dynamic two-day celebration of cycling, sport and city. Set against Singapore’s iconic Marina Bay skyline, the race circuit will pass by some of Singapore’s most recognisable landmarks such as the Padang, Esplanade and Anderson Bridge, offering a spectacular backdrop and a uniquely Singaporean experience.
The event is free to attend, but those who want an elevated experience can purchase premiere spectator tickets with hospitality included. These are priced at S$68 for the Finish Line and S$168 for Prestige Club at Trip.com. Please visit https://singaporecriterium.com/ for more information.
