For Autumn/Winter 2014, Puma is introducing a NightCat Powered range in selected Puma running products. This will give runners protection and visibility through reflective features and a user-controlled, lightweight (4.7g) removable and rechargeable LED light.

Through the NightCat Powered products, it will be possible for runners to have a constant light source in low light conditions. The LED illumination is built right into the product – without the need for additional gears. NightCat Powered provides both steady and on-blinking lighting options for runners. Whether it is the jacket, shoe or backpack, all runners need to do is to simply turn on the light.
The NightCat Powered running collection includes the following products.
Mobium Elite Ride NC Powered

This is an update of Puma’s award-winning adaptive running shoe the Mobium Elite. It maintains the same features of the Mobium Elite – that is, the Mobium Band to enhance propulsion at toe-off, the Windlass Chassis to facilitate the expansion and contraction of the midsole and the Forefoot Expansion Pods to expand and contract with the movement of the foot.
But it is targeted towards the heel striker who wants an everyday running shoe.
The NightCat Powered edition features 360 degrees of reflectivity and a blue LED light that sits on top of the tongue, with power that can last up to 4 hours when fully charged.

This is an updated version of the Faas 600, and the updates include an improved upper fit and brand new tooling, featuring a full-length transitional channel that mimics the runner’s natural gait cycle pattern, encouraging a more natural ride.
The NightCat Powered edition is similar to the Mobium Elite Ride shoe, with 360 degrees of reflectivity and a rechargable blue LED light.
Pure NightCat Powered Jacket

This jacket provides constant protection at any time of the night or during low light settings and contains everything else you would expect, in a premium running tech jacket i.e. constant over protection, easy maintenance and breathability.
The NightCat Powered jacket contains highly reflective materials and flexible fibre optic cables embedded along the back and arms that transports light through an LED source and provides up to 1.5 hours of visibility.

This backpack enhances the runner’s body in motion with lightweight performance materials and a convenient, easy to use design. The backpack features a hydration system compatible with a quick attach tube keeper for hydration tube adjustability.
The NightCat Powered backpack also comes with 3M reflective Cat print and LED light that can last up to 1.5 hours.
The new NightCat Powered collection is now available at all Puma stores.
