These will be alongside the signature 100KM triathlon event (2KM swim 80KM bike 18KM run) around the iconic Marina Bay. The Standard and the Long Duathlon events are also back.
And as well, the introduction of a new Youth Aquathlon category means that athletes as young as 14 years old can take part too, with the 5KM Music Run targeted at fun runners, also completing the race weekend.
The swim legs of the new categories will take place at the iconic Marina Reservoir and reflects the growth of the event, with total participation increasing by 40% year on year from 2024 to 2025.

Said Sam Renouf, CEO, Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO), “our first event in Singapore in 2023 was the prototype which helped us develop the original T100 Triathlon World Tour that is now in 10 cities across the world. The T100 weekend in Singapore goes from strength to strength and 2026 is set to be our biggest and best yet.
He continued, “We are excited for the support from authorities which will see an increase in swim capacity in Marina Reservoir for amateurs alongside a 40% year on year increase in participants across all events.”
Designated by World Triathlon as “the official World Championship for long distance triathlon”, the T100 is a season-long schedule of World Championship level races where the world’s best triathletes go head-to-head globally in iconic locations. T100 weekends are “festivals of multi sport” and feature a range of opportunities for amateur athletes of all levels to get involved. ![]()

With new race categories this year, spectators will witness Team Singapore triathletes racing alongside the best in the field and gaining valuable race experience on home ground.”
