Not every run is about the finish time.

For Run For Hope, the bigger goal has always been what happens beyond the finish line. The annual charity run is returning for its 33rd edition on 29 November 2026, bringing runners and supporters together at Marina Barrage to raise awareness and support cancer research.
Organised by Four Seasons Hotel Singapore and the National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS), Run For Hope dates back to 1993 and has seen more than 20,000 people take part over the years.
The 2026 edition will feature 5km and 10km non-competitive categories, so there is no need to worry about chasing a PB. Whether you want an easy Sunday morning run, are bringing along friends and family, or simply want to support the cause, both distances offer a way to get involved.
A T-shirt with a story
One of the highlights of this year’s event is something participants will be wearing rather than racing in.
Run For Hope will have its first official event T-shirt, designed by Cindy Neo, an NCCS patient, artist and founder of Room To Imagine.
Neo drew inspiration from her own cancer journey for the design, which features a ribbon in motion. It gives this year’s race shirt a more personal meaning than simply being another piece of event merchandise.
And if you’re the competitive sort, there is still something to chase, although this time, it is your fundraising total rather than your race time.
The top 10 registered participants who collect the most contributions will stand a chance to win a pair of Singapore Airlines return Business Class tickets to Western Sydney, worth S$11,400.
You don’t have to run to make a difference
Run For Hope’s fundraising efforts are not limited to those standing at the start line.
Those unable to participate can still make an individual or team contribution through the event’s fundraising platform. The 2025 edition raised more than US$190,000 for the NCC Research Fund, adding to the event’s long-running contribution towards cancer research.
With 33 editions behind it, Run For Hope has become a fixture on Singapore’s running calendar: one where the kilometres are not measured by pace alone.
