STAR WARS Virtual Run 2020 Launches May 4

All Jedi padawans and Sith apprentices, prepare to choose your side and join the Force – in South East Asia’s first-ever STAR WARS Virtual Run, a collaboration with LIV3LY, South East Asia’s leading Social Fitness App.

Clock in your run distance from May the 4th

Registration for the STAR WARS Virtual Run is now open, and runners will be able to clock in their run distance from May the 4th. The date is derived from the iconic STAR WARS phrase “May the force be with you” and is synonymous of Star Wars Day.

Get a Limited-edition Finisher Trophy

As well, 2020 also marks the 40th anniversary of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back and runners who register and complete the run will be awarded with a commemorative Finisher Trophy when they complete their run. As well, there will also be Limited Edition merchandise available for purchase.

Merchandise includes STAR WARS Pass Holders and Mobile Phone Stands and will be exclusive to South East Asia and available in limited quantities only.

Most epic virtual run in the galaxy

The STAR WARS Virtual Run, set to be the most epic virtual run in this part of the galaxy, is open to fans and runners from Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam and runners can take part by clocking their mileage on any treadmills or running paths that they choose.

5.4km Individual Run or 40km category

Take part in the 5.4km Individual Run (SGD25) or pair up with a friend and participate in the 40km Individual or Team of 2 category (SGD40), the latter being where the distance can be completed either at once, or over a period of time.

Registration fees include postage of finisher items.

Upon registration, runners will have from 4th May – 31st May to complete the distance they choose and be eligible for the Finisher Trophy. As well, 40km runners will get an additional The Empire Strikes Back 40th Anniversary Trophy.

Where to register

Register through the MOVE by LIV3LY app, a free download on both the Apple and Google Play Stores, and then activate the MOVE Run Tracker in the app to record your distance.

Upon completion of the run and verification by LIV3LY, the Finisher Trophy and any merchandise purchased will be sent to the registered address of participants.
