The Great Green Run is back for 2026, and it’s shaping up to be more than just a run.

Presented by CIMB Singapore, the Great Green Run 2026 (GGR26) is all about getting people moving and thinking greener. It’s one of the region’s most eco-conscious running events, blending fitness with sustainability, community vibes, and a push for real climate action.
Organised by Modellscape and Tri-FACTOR, this isn’t your typical race. Sure, you can clock your kilometres, but the bigger goal is to inspire healthier lifestyles while making sustainability feel accessible and relevant in everyday life.
Tri-FACTOR founder Elvin Ting shared that the vision is to grow the event into something bigger—a lifestyle and sustainability festival.
Think more than just running: community activities, lifestyle experiences, and spaces that encourage especially younger folks to get involved in climate action.
Now in its third year, GGR26 is expanding its reach, bringing together runners, sustainability advocates, businesses, and communities who all care about building a greener future.
On the design and experience side, Modellscape’s Executive Director Poh Shi Hui highlighted that the goal is to create moments that stick—even after race day. It’s about making sustainability feel personal, not overwhelming.
The event also aligns with Singapore’s Green Plan 2030 and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, with the Singapore Environment Council coming on board as this year’s Certification Partner.
CIMB Singapore continues its role as title sponsor (they’ve been here since day one), reinforcing the idea that businesses and communities need to work hand-in-hand to drive meaningful environmental change.
One especially interesting initiative this year comes from the Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF). They’re helping up to 50 SMEs get started on their sustainability journey by offering free carbon footprint reports. For many small businesses, the biggest challenge is simply knowing where to begin—so this is a pretty big step in making sustainability more approachable and actionable.
Beyond the run itself, there’s also plenty to explore. The Green Bazaar will feature over 50 eco-focused stalls, offering everything from pre-loved fashion and accessories to handcrafted goods and food. It’s basically a mini sustainable marketplace where you can shop with a little more purpose.
