A First of its Kind League Of Legends eSports camp in Singapore, This June

This June, Singaporean youths between 13 – 25 years old will be able to attend a first-of-its-kind League Of Legends (LoL) Summer Camp.

Camp is happening from June 27 – 29

Taking place from June 27 – 29, this camp is free to attend and it is part of *SCAPEeSports Experience and Xosure Programme (EXP2019).

This is the second summer camp organised by *SCAPE in June, with the first one being the Mobile Legends Bang Bang EXP Summer Camp from June 17 – 19.

EXP is a first-of-its-kind in Singapore where youths can experience a holistic eSports programme to master in-game skills, cultivate appropriate online behaviours and explore their passion for the industry.

As well, aspiring eSports individuals will also be empowered to foster the grown of eSports communities, at *SCAPE.

Imparts attendees with useful skills

Unlike most eSports camps, this camp will impart attendees with useful skills on how to improve at LoL, learn about tilt management and handling toxic on-line behaviours. 

What campers can expect

There will also be in-camp tournaments that encourage team unity whilst retaining individual competitiveness. Off-screen time will be devoted to fun team bonding exercises and outdoor activities designed to foster teamwork and collaboration.

One of the camp highlights is the thematic Amazing Race challenges at Sentosa where teams race against the clock to score points at LoL related challenges at 14 different locations.

As well, camp attendees will also be able to take part in a Focus Adventure at Sentosa where they must work closely with team-mates to conquer a 24-metre high challenge tower.

Professional gamers and industry experts to be mentors

Mentoring the camp will be professional gamers and industry experts from Resurgence, Singapore’s largest eSports organisation. 

And at the camp, renowned shout-caster and Resurgence team owner Jayf Soh will also provide a talk on how the gaming industry and the spectrum of opportunities within the eSports network.

EXP2019 Offers Workshops Too

In addition to the summer camps this month, EXP2019 also offers 40 workshops from July to December with modules ranging from in-game skills and tactics to mental management, cyber-wellness, content creation, commentary work, streaming and more.
